Please remember that if you are volunteering, you must have completed your volunteer forms and background check. All background check forms must now be submitted electronically. The good news is the form is super quick to fill out. The bad news is, you MUST complete the application online and be signed-off by the school to participate. The link is on the band website. BAND CAMP ARRIVAL: Chaperones need to arrive at Parkway South High School 7am on Thursday August 3rd. Marchers need to arrive at 7:30 am. We leave promptly at 8 am!
BAND CAMP DIRECTIONS: Band camp is at Camp Woodland Hills in St. Clair, MO August 3rd – 6th.
-- Highway 44 west to exit 239.
-- Turn right, then left on N. Service Road W. (1.4 m)
-- Right on WW. (3.3 m)
-- Camp Woodland Hills on the right.
WHAT TO BRING TO BAND CAMP: Please see the attached document for what to bring to band camp.
Please bring the following when dropped off for band camp based on last names (please label if there are nuts):
o A-E 2 DOZEN “HOMEMADE” COOKIES
o F-H 1 BATCH OF RICE KRISPIE TREATS
o I-L 1 - 2 BOX OF POP TARTS, COFFEE CAKE OR PASTRIES
o M-R 1 - 2 LOAVES QUICK BREAD OR BROWNIES
o Q-Z 1 BAG OF BAGELS OR 1 DOZEN MUFFINS
REHEARSAL/TALENT SHOW!: Please join us Saturday (8/5) night to see how much our marchers have learned at band camp! Arrive at 6:00 pm. Bring lawn chairs, bug spray and wear your red, white, and blue to support the band! After the rehearsal, head over to the dining hall and the kids will entertain us with a Talent show!
